It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Beta Phi Omega Chapter affectionately known as “Sorors by the Sea” and located in the birthplace of Juneteenth, the historical Galveston Island, Texas.

This chapter has been proudly serving Galveston Island in profound and meaningful ways since 1938. I am proud to continue that legacy as President and leader of over 100 dynamic women.

Our members are committed to "Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World." Under the leadership of Mrs. Charletta Wilson Jacks, the 2026–2030 International President and CEO of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, we invite you to attend our chapter meetings on the 1st Saturdays of the month and join us continuing our impact on the community.

Thank you for visiting our website. You are invited to view and attend our upcoming events.

Sensationally Serving,

Crystal DeLaney

34th President of Beta Phi Omega Chapter
